I am someone who loves to travel. But the meaning of travel has changed for me over a period of time. What does travel mean to you?
Before you, I always thought that traveling meant museums and adventures. With you, I found out that it means long afternoons spent lying in the sand by new rivers with cold water caressing our feet. It means discussing the latest Casey McQuiston over cups of hot Chai with sugar cubes while sunlight dances on the checkered red tablecloth. It can be tracing the dappling sunlight on your sunburnt cheeks while splitting mango ice cream in the warm ocean breeze. It can be asking a gentleman we met, where the locals eat chaat, for the address of the brightest blue berries and red cherries. It can be just you and me marveling at the simple wonders of the world.
