This is a poem appreciating the people who quietly support their loved ones in their journey towards success. They are the ones who push you into the spotlight while supporting you from the darkness.

One day, this sweat and exhaustion will turn your palace of dreams

Into a full blown 3-dimensional high definition reality.

When that day comes, those who stood and booed from the sidelines

Will loudly claim on TV and Insta stories

That they saw it coming when you were two or twelve or five and a quarter to thirty,

While those who cheered for years and became the force that propelled you into success

Will silently slide into your DMs to congratulate you and become the dark around your spotlight.
