/
There are certain days on which I
Just want to sit with you in our companionable silences.
I want to hear your heartbeat under my fingertips
And match it’s rhythm with mine.
I want to lie down on the cool sand by the stream
And feel the magic thrumming in our alveoli escape into the air we breathe.
On certain lazy days, I want to link our hands and go on long winding walks
And listen to the wind whisper Sweet Nothings into our ears.
There are certain days on which I just want to
Exist by your side and be glad that you are a part of my life.
