I Cry in Autumn: A poem on sadness & melancholy

I cry in autumn.

I cry in autumn for the lost last summer.

I cry in autumn for the sad cold winter.

I cry in autumn for the never ending assignments.

I cry in autumn for the innocent ignorance of childhood.

I cry this autumn for the children ignorant of the innocent ignorance of childhood.

I cry in autumn for my grandmother’s wrinkled face and wise eyes.

I cry in autumn for the melancholy music of the fan on number two.

I cry in autumn for the lost friendships and the new one’s which I am going to lose one day.

I cry in autumn for crying in autumn.

I cry in autumn for autumn.
