This is a part of a poem about not wanting to meet other’s expectations from a poet and you can read the full poem by joining my Buy Me A Coffee.

Sometimes I don’t want to write poems with a hidden meaning.
Sometimes I don’t want to gather the strength to rhyme in front of nineteen people.
Sometimes I don’t want to discuss philosophy over spaghetti bolognese.
Sometimes I don’t want to understand the difference between prose poetry and narrative poetry.
Sometimes I don’t want to be the poet you want me to be.
