This is the latest poem in what I think is going to become a series of speculative poems. It’s only a part of a poem. To read the full poem, you can visit my Buy Me A Coffee page.
A Cat Walked Into A Bar
She was wearing a yellow trench coat
When she walked into the bar on 5th Avenue.
Heads turned, conversations stilled, dishes crashed.
Oblivious, she asked, “Can I have a dirty martini and extra olives in a glass?”
Confused, the Bartender struggled to nod, but got to work
On a dirty martini for the cat that walked into his bar.
