This is a poem about crying under the rain. There is something very cathartic about the experience. Hope you like it.
Crying Under Pouring Skies
There is something about crying under the pouring skies
That comforts me almost like a blanket on a cold snowy night.
The intermingling of tears and thick drops of rain
As they almost race down my arteries and veins
Cools the slow burning fire in my heart and brain.
You may want to ask, “Doesn’t the lightning scare you, lass?”
It’s just a reflection of the thunder in my heart.
Why would I be afraid of something that belongs to my parts?
I think there’s something about the nature matching
The roars of my muffled cries
And the water being the blessing of the skies
That makes me want to always cry only under pouring skies.
